Genesis Energy

Genesis has a Retail business, a Generation business and an interest in the Kupe oil and gas field. Genesis is a diversified energy company. Manawa Energy is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest renewable generators representing around 5% of Aotearoa’s generation capacity. Meridian and Powershop

As New Zealand’s largest 100% renewable energy generator, and as a retailer, Meridian is committed to delivering clean energy for a fairer and healthier world. Snowy Hydro Limited

Snowy Hydro Limited is an electricity generation and retailing company in Australia that owns, manages, and maintains the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Scheme which consists of nine hydro-electric power stations and sixteen large dams connected by 145 kilometres of tunnels and 80 kilometres of aqueducts located mainly in the Kosciuszko National Park. Snowy Hydro also owns and operates two gas-fired power stations in Victoria and one in New South Wales, three diesel power stations in South Australia, and owns two electricity retailing businesses (Red Energy and Lumo Energy).

Hydro Tasmania

Hydro Tasmania is Australia’s leading clean energy business and largest generator of renewable energy. We stand ready to help make Tasmania the renewable energy battery of the nation and create an energy future that’s clean, reliable and affordable.

We employ more than 1100 people, including almost 750 Tasmanians. Our people are diverse, skilled, and passionate about a clean energy future for Tasmania and Australia. We support the ambitions of young Tasmanians through our graduate program, apprenticeships and internships.

Every year, we produce about 9000 gigawatt hours of clean electricity from hydropower – enough to power about 900,000 Australian homes and small businesses. We also generate from wind and gas. Hydropower Engineering

In April 1999 Giuseppe (Jo) Grilli founded Hydropower Engineering Ltd in Hamilton, as an engineering practice serving the hydropower companies in New Zealand. From 1999 to 2007 Jo Grilli worked as a sole trader for major generating companies in New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Canada and Fiji. In March 2008 Joachim (Joe) Pott joined Hydropower Engineering as a partner, thereby expanding the scope of the engineering practice by his expertise on hydraulic machinery and equipment. BC Hydro

BC Hydro is a commercial crown corporation owned by the province of British Columbia. As one of the largest energy suppliers in Canada, it operates an integrated system backed by 30 hydroelectric plants, 2 thermal generating stations as well as over 79,000 kilometres of transmission and distribution lines to deliver reliable, affordable and clean electricity to 95% of BC’s population, safely.
